China Glaze 2NITE with XL plate B and F

I finally picked up my XL plates B and F :)  (see photo's New Goodies) ofcourse I had to test them. The full nail designs are bigger then the full nails from Konad but my nails are still just a little bit to long and I didn't want to cut them yet. So I used a full nail design in a different way.

It is a bit hard sometimes to take a good photo of the nail art on a holo polish, so I have a couple of photo's. Base China Glaze 2NITE stamped with XL plate B and OPI Blue my mind. The flowers are from XL plate F stamped with Konad SN pastel blue and pastel violet. In the flowers some OPI Blue my mind dots made  with a dotting tool. Photo with flash.

A bit strange colors but you can see the nail art the best here. Photo without flash and some weird settings ;)

I love these new XL plates and the XL stamp is nice too.

Like I said in my previous blog China Glaze 2NITE was my first holo polish but back then I didn't made a swatch photo of it. I do have some photo's of my nail art on it :) These are from April 2009.

Some big SN white and SN violet pearl stars, imageplate M15. And some little stars in between M3 SN pastel violet, right grey and pastel blue. On my ring finger 2 rhinestones a blue and purple one. Photo without flash in sunlight.

This was my first China Glaze holo polish, but back then I didn't make a swatch of it. So I just had to wear it again :) and have it on my nails right now. It's my favorite polish from the OMG collection.

My new goodies :)

I have some new goodies to show you. Let's start with my prize from the Show us your Country nail art Challenge from Parokeets I was so happy and surprised that I won :)

Some great make-up and lovely polishes and the most adorable earrings

Here you can see the polishes swatched on a wheel.

From left to right: Alessandro 297, Alessandro 261, Catrice From Dusk to Dawn, Gosh Powder, P2 Dangerous, Golden Rose 312 and Golden Rose 344.

Those cute earring were made by Maestra one of the Parokeet ladies. I immediately fell in love with them. That evening I went out to the dinner with my parents and boyfriend to this Yugoslavian restaurant and I just had to wear them :)
(Don't mind me just look at the earrings ;)) Even my boyfriend said that night that he loved the earrings :) So thanks again Parokeet ladies and especially Maestra for making them ♥

Friday evening I went to the household fair, this used to be a fair for household products, but these days you can find all kinds of stuff there :) Like make-up, nail polish, food, gadgets, clothes, and ofcourse also nice household stuff. There was a stand of Golden Rose and they had this 1+1 offer :) I had a shopping list for 3 of my lovely nail friends, Henny, Esther and Giuditta it was mostly for Golden Rose flakies but also some other polishes. This is what I bought all together.

Only the top 4 bottles are mine ;)

Golden Rose Paris Magic color: 309, 321, 327 and 328.

Swatched on a wheel: 321, 327, 328 and 309.

Last week I finally went to Michelle's home to pick up my XL plates. I couple of weeks ago we and some other friends from Beautiful Nails 4 U did a group order. But I just hadn't got the time to pick them up yet. Now I finally have my XL plate B and F and the XL stamp. I just love these plates and the stamp is nice too.

China Glaze DV8 with "sea theme" nail art

In my next blog you saw the swatches of this gorgeous polish, now let's show the nail art. I love the sea, beach, fishes, dolphins, seahorses...so every year I make a creation or two with this theme. A couple of them you have already seen in previous blogs. For this creation I was inspired by a creation from Glammed Up and I made this for the song Challenge on Polish Hoarder Disorder. I didn't had a blog back then. The song I chose was Disney's Under the Sea of the Little Mermaid :) This is from August 2010.

Photo with flash. The base is China Glaze DV8 and I used a lot for the nail art. On my ring finger a self made decal of a turtle with some big green glitter on top of it. The stamping plates I used are Konad M16, M21, M23, M27, M35, M76, Konad Coraline plate C05, GCOCL plates B01 and C01, Essence plates and some Bundle Monster plates BM03, BM04, BM08, BM09, BM12.

For the stamping and coloring I used Konad  SN black, white, red, green, pastel blue, jungle green, psyche pink, China Glaze Up all Night, Emerald Sparkle, Yellow Polkadot Bikini, Color Club What a Shock and Golden Rose Holographic color 111.

I also used the Konad gold and silver glitter striper to color the seahorse and anchor.
Photo without flash, here you can see the glitter better.

Ofcourse I also wanted to match my feet :) because it was Summer.

I just stamped some light blue bubbles and a water decal of the turtle from Finding Nemo on my big toe.

Some people were curious if my right hand looked about the same as my left so here a photo of my right hand.
Somehow I always hold my right hand weird while taking a picture with my left hahaha :)

Under the sea
Under the sea
Darling it's better
Down where it's wetter
Take it from me
Up on the shore they work all day
Out in the sun they slave away
While we devotin'
Full time to floatin'
Under the sea

This song makes me really happy :) also the Dutch version of it!

For my boyfriend, Valentine's Day ideas part 7

For Valentines Day I made special nails for my boyfriend Dave :)

Base W.I.C by Herome Valencia, white french OPI Alpine Snow and a shimmer coat of W.I.C Moscow. I made my own water decals of Chococat on top of a heart and in those hearts the letters of my boyfriends name. Stamped with Konad SN red and imageplate M80. The french stamp isn't that pretty it was a bit to small but too bad. Photo with flash under artificial light.

Here a photo of just the base.

I hope everyone had a nice Valentine's Day. I got some really cute presents from my boyfriend

Valentine's Day ideas part 6

Today another lovely Valentine creation. But I'm really bummed, I just couldn't get this normal on a photo. The flash made the holo effect too strong and then I couldn't see the metallic stamps anymore. But without flash it became blurry...so sorry for these bad pictures.

On the first photo you can see the colors the best and on the second photo you can see the design better.

Base China Glaze QT from the OMG Collection. Stamped with China Glaze Admire and imageplate BM11 and China Glaze Emotion and Konad imageplates M3 and M18. On my ring finger a light pink heartshaped rhinestone.

And some older Valentine's Day creations :) This one I made in 2010 for Valentine's Day.

China Glaze Lubu Heels with China Glaze Long Kiss roses stamped from M65. Pink hearts from M2 with China Glaze Admire.

The next one I didn't made for Valentine but it could be something you could wear at Valentine's Day ;) This is from the beginning of 2009.

The base is a french with some pearly polish don't know the brand any more, stamped with Konad SN red and green imageplate M40.

This I actually made for my boyfriends birthday in September 2009. It was his choice the base color and design. I find it also something romantic so it's also a good idea for Valentine's Day.
Base OPI Rosy Mistletoe-sies stamped with M65 and China Glaze Admire.

Photo without flash.

I'm planning one more creation for V-day, something special voor my boyfriend
